at-home whitening

The next step of your smile makeover journey is to start at-home bleaching. This helps you acclimate your teeth to the bleach, helping to reduce sensitivity while also helping to lift surface stains and discoloration - in preparation for your in-office whitening.

To whiten at home, you will use either; the custom take home whitening trays we made for your, or you may use your Invisalign trays.

You will receive either 10% or 35% bleach - using your preferred level bleach, add a small dot/button to each tooth in the front facing part of your trays. If using 10% bleach, you can wear your bleach trays for up to 8 hours. If using 35% bleach, you can wear your bleach trays for up to 30 mins.

Whiten for the appropriate time for your selected level bleach, once a day, for 14 days.

Suggestion: Make sure you include all of your ‘eye teeth’ when bleaching. This coverage includes all the teeth you see when you smile big. Many people add bleach to each tooth and that’s fine by us!
