You will be numb for a couple of hours following treatment.

We advise against eating and drinking until the numbness subsides so you don’t injure yourself. If you must eat or drink, choose soft foods and liquids at room temperature.

Once the numbness wears off, you are free to eat and drink normally.

Other than feeling amazing about yourself and your new smile, your gums may be irritated after treatment. To help the healing process, continue to floss and brush your teeth.

Sensitivity following treatment is normal, and should subside in a few days.

You will not need to continue using the antibacterial rinse (Peridex) with the permanent veneers. At this point you may return to your regular hygiene routine.

If your bite feels a bit off, we will adjust it at your follow up appointment.

If you don’t already own a mechanical toothbrush, we suggest you get one. We highly recommend the Phillips Sonicare toothbrush.
